\"image-17\"Marcelo\u00a0is Assistant Professor in the Program in Adult Education and Community Development and the Collaborative Program in Workplace Learning and Social Change at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE\/UT). He is also a co-founder and executive committee member of the Centre for Learning, Social Economy & Work (CLSEW, also at OISE\/UT). Between May 2013 and June 2014 Marcelo was a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Social Economy Centre at OISE\/UT, and for all of 2012 a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Euricse. A major focus of Marcelo\u2019s research and teaching is on alternative economic arrangements and their organizations, such as social enterprises, worker cooperatives, and worker- and community-led business conversions to cooperatives.<\/p>\n
