{"id":10290,"date":"2020-05-03T07:38:22","date_gmt":"2020-05-03T06:38:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euricse.staging.hgblu.com\/?p=10290"},"modified":"2020-05-03T07:38:23","modified_gmt":"2020-05-03T06:38:23","slug":"euricse-participates-in-a-european-project-to-train-teachers-on-cooperative-entrepreneurship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/en\/euricse-participates-in-a-european-project-to-train-teachers-on-cooperative-entrepreneurship\/","title":{"rendered":"Euricse participates in a European Project to train teachers on cooperative entrepreneurship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Euricse will develop a project together with another nine European partners to train teachers on cooperative entrepreneurship and boost the incorporation of these models into the curriculum, both at secondary and university education. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Project <a href=\"http:\/\/youcoope.eu\/\"><strong>YOUCOOPE: Education in Cooperative Entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/a> has kicked off.\u00a0 The Project is led by Santander International Entrepreneurship Centre (CISE) in collaboration with another nine institutions from Belgium, UK, Italy, Spain and Wales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YOUCOOPE will be designing capacitation modules with innovative\nresources, methodologies and tools for <strong>educators<\/strong> to incorporate\ncooperative entrepreneurship concepts, skills and real-life experiences into\ntheir lessons. The project is also looking to encourage educative institutions\nboth at secondary and university level, to include the <strong>cooperative model in\ntheir curriculum<\/strong> and to boost it among young students and entrepreneurs all\nover Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the success of the <strong>ECOOPE<\/strong> European project,  our group of institutions committed to entrepreneurship and co-operation have once again obtained the <strong>support<\/strong> from the <strong>European Commission<\/strong> to carry out a programme, which, in this case, will be focused on <strong>training the trainers<\/strong> so that they can motivate and boost entrepreneurship among European youths within the context of cooperative values as the tool to obtain <strong>the social and entrepreneurial skills<\/strong> that improve their <strong>employability<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will last 18 months, thoroughout which a blended-learning\nmethodology will be used. It will include a <strong>free online course, downloadable\ncontents and face-to-face sessions for teachers<\/strong> at both education levels.\nAll materials developed by YOUCOOPE will take into account the <strong>EntreComp<\/strong>\nEuropean Framework for the development of entrepreneurial skills, supported by\nthe European Commission, that includes the so-considered essential softskills\nfor the personal and professional future of youths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its first stage, YOUCOOPE will bring <strong>digital capacitation<\/strong> to\nboth secondary and university educators through a MOOC on entrepreneurial\neducation and cooperativism. Its aim is to reach wide participation of teachers\nat both levels in at least five European countries, especially in <strong>Spain and\nItaly<\/strong>. After the online training, <strong>four face-to-face pilot experiences<\/strong>\nin both countries will be carried out in order to complement what has been\nlearned and reinforce the methodologies to apply in the classroom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The resources generated during the project will also encourage educational\ninstitutions to look for <strong>collaboration with existing cooperatives at local\nlevel<\/strong>, so that young people can gain perspective on the importance and\nefficiency of this model, as well as facilitating the transition from the\nclassroom to the working context and reinforce real-life experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YOUCOOPE has <strong>a<\/strong> <strong>budget of over 230,000 euros<\/strong> and is co-financed by the European Commission.
