Ilana Gotz<\/strong> from Euricse opened the webinar, giving the floor to Hanna Persson<\/strong>, training and education officer from Coops4dev<\/a>. Then Sara Vicari, founder of Around the World<\/strong>, illustrated the project and the partnership with the International Cooperative Alliance, ICA<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first video, namely \u201cA cooperative story number one \u2013 Casa di Alice\u201d is set in Castel Volturno<\/strong> (Italy) and is dedicated to the activities of the social enterprise Cooperativa Altri Orizzonti<\/a>, from social farming to a sewing workshop, in a territory strongly hit by illegal activities. \u201cIt is important to share stories like \u201cCasa di Alice\u201d, because doing that we can show that another world is possible\u201d, Euricse researcher, Jacopo Sforzi<\/strong>, said. \u201cTo think about communities means to think in a different way\u201d, agreed C\u00e9cile Berranger<\/strong>, from the Around the World research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love the cooperative because it\u2019s different, it goes against the stream\u201d, said one of the founders of the Kooperatywa Dobrze<\/a> in Warsaw. The second video screened in Coop Cinema focused on the revolution brought among consumers in Poland by this food coop. \u201cOur business model is like an anthill\u201d, said another coop member. Beata Charikya, member of Kooperatywa Dobrze, took part in the webinar as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
