{"id":19627,"date":"2023-06-23T11:43:58","date_gmt":"2023-06-23T10:43:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/?p=19627"},"modified":"2023-06-23T12:06:16","modified_gmt":"2023-06-23T11:06:16","slug":"international-conference-on-statistics-of-cooperative-measuring-cooperatives-and-beyond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/en\/international-conference-on-statistics-of-cooperative-measuring-cooperatives-and-beyond\/","title":{"rendered":"International Conference on Statistics of Cooperative \u2013 Measuring Cooperatives and Beyond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 30th June the ILO will host an international conference on statistics of cooperatives, as part of the cooperative statistics component of the Strengthening Social and Solidarity Economy Knowledge Base project.<\/p>\n<p>This conference will showcase the findings from the cooperative statistics component of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/global\/topics\/cooperatives\/projects\/WCMS_841623\/lang--en\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strengthening Social and Solidarity Economy Knowledge Base project\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0funded by the Ministry of Employment and Labour (MoEL) of the Republic of Korea. National Researchers from five countries &#8211; Korea, Italy, Costa Rica, T\u00fcrkiye and Tanzania, will present their analysis on the statistics available and used in each country related to cooperatives in comparison to the ILO\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/wcmsp5\/groups\/public\/---dgreports\/---stat\/documents\/meetingdocument\/wcms_648558.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guidelines concerning Statistics of Cooperatives\u00a0<\/a>. Referring to the country findings, recommendations will be made to the guidelines and on the implementation of the guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The General Secretary of Euricse, <strong>Gianluca Salvatori<\/strong>, will be one of the speakers on the &#8220;Challenges and opportunities in developing statistics of cooperatives&#8221; discussion panel.
