On\u00a0October 10th and 11th, a workshop was held on\u00a0Social Economy statistics\u00a0in the\u00a027 European Member States. This event was part of the project “Benchmarking the socio-economic performance of the EU Social Economy,” led by\u00a0Euricse\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0CIRIEC International\u00a0and\u00a0Spatial Foresight, commissioned by the\u00a0European Council Executive Agency for Innovation and SMEs\u00a0(EISMEA<\/a>).
\nThe workshop began with welcoming remarks from\u00a0Patrick Klein\u00a0representing the European Commission (DG GROW), followed by a presentation from Euricses’ senior researcher\u00a0Chiara Carini\u00a0on the state of Social Economy statistics in European member States. About 30 researchers and experts from various organizations attended, allowing for an exchange of insights on available data and methodologies for data collection. This event\u00a0contributes to the project’s goal of mapping and analyzing information on the recent developments in the Social Economy in Europe. The\u00a0next workshop, scheduled for\u00a0November 8th,\u00a0will address challenges and solutions in producing statistics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
