This theme puts a spotlight on how the cooperative model is an\u00a0<strong>essential solution to overcome many global challenges<\/strong>\u00a0and continues to play an important role in\u00a0<strong>accelerating efforts to implement the Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>\u00a0(SDGs) by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Draft UN resolution A\/78\/L.71 on the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/undocs.org\/A\/78\/L.71\">here<\/a>. The text recommends ways to celebrate and encourages all Member States, the United Nations, and relevant stakeholders to leverage this event to\u00a0<strong>promote cooperatives\u2019 contribution to social and economic development<\/strong>.
