{"id":26443,"date":"2025-02-28T15:12:11","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T15:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/al-cese-la-presentazione-del-report-sulleconomia-sociale-in-europa\/"},"modified":"2025-02-28T15:25:33","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T15:25:33","slug":"al-cese-la-presentazione-del-report-sulleconomia-sociale-in-europa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/en\/al-cese-la-presentazione-del-report-sulleconomia-sociale-in-europa\/","title":{"rendered":"Statistical report on the social economy in the European Union"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest\u00a0<strong>statistical report on the social economy in the European Union<\/strong>, carried out\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>EURICSE<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>CIRIEC<\/strong>\u00a0with the support of the European Commission within the framework of the Social Economy Action Plan, estimates that the social economy sector\u00a0<strong>employs 11.5 million people within the EU.<\/strong>\u00a0These workers are distributed across\u00a0<strong>4.3 million enterprises and entities<\/strong>, of which 97.7% belong to the four traditional families of the social economy:\u00a0<strong>cooperatives, mutual societies, associations, and foundations.<\/strong>\u00a0Among these,\u00a0<strong>246,000<\/strong>\u00a0entities are classified as\u00a0<strong>social enterprises<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe report was\u00a0<strong>presented on<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>February 7th\u00a0in Brussels,<\/strong>\u00a0during an event hosted by the\u00a0<strong>European Economic and Social Committee<\/strong>\u00a0(EESC).
