On the 30th\u00a0and the 31st of May, on the occasion of the International Year of Cooperatives, Trento hosts the International Colloquium on Cooperative Research<\/strong>, organised by EURICSE<\/strong> in collaboration with the International Cooperative Alliance – Global Committee on Cooperative Research,<\/strong> the EMES<\/strong> network, CIRIEC International<\/strong>, the University of Trento <\/strong>and with the support of the Trentino Federation of Cooperatives<\/strong>. More than 50 <\/strong>scholars from 18<\/strong> countries will\u00a0gather to discuss the future of cooperation in the social economy.
\nThe discussion centers around four main themes: the evolution of cooperatives<\/strong> and emerging new forms, their role in the ecological and democratic transition,<\/strong> the dynamics of work <\/strong>and participation<\/strong>, and the connection between academic research<\/strong> and cooperative practice.<\/strong>
\nOne of the most significant moments was the keynote by economist Jean-Louis Laville<\/strong> (CNAM Paris – EMES), who provided fresh insights into emerging practices and research questions, reinforcing the view of cooperatives\u00a0as a driving force for social innovation and systemic change.<\/p>\n
