On Friday 27th of\u00a0June, the third technical session within the\u00a0EU Platform for Social and Proximity Economy<\/a>\u00a0dedicated to resilient communities and innovative solutions for economic and social development\u00a0took place online.\u00a0Two case studies were presented, one urban and one rural, showing examples of community regeneration in Europe.\u00a0Suzanne Pergal<\/strong>, from the M\u00e9tropole du Grand Paris, illustrated the role of the social economy in urban civic engagement, while\u00a0Ilias Filandros<\/strong>, an expert in social economy and\u00a0Konstantinos Papadakis<\/strong>, president of the Union of Social and Solidarity Economy Organisations of Crete, presented rural experiences with positive impacts on the territory. Parallel sessions, in closing, facilitated the exchange between experts and the sharing of good practices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
