On the 24th of October the\u00a0International Cooperative Allia<\/strong>nce (ICA)<\/strong>\u00a0organised the\u00a0I<\/a>nternational Symposium on Cooperatives and International Law<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a0Peace Palace in The Hague<\/strong>, home of the International Court of Justice, on the occasion of the\u00a0International Year of Cooperatives<\/strong>. The event explored the relationship between\u00a0cooperatives, international law, and sustainable development<\/strong>, highlighting the cooperative model\u2019s growing importance in addressing global challenges.\u00a0Paola Iamiceli<\/strong>, President of\u00a0EURICSE<\/strong>,\u00a0contributed as invited speaker to\u00a0the panel\u00a0on\u00a0\u201cCooperative Education and Training\u201d, stressing the need to\u00a0embed cooperative identity within education systems and public policies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She called for\u00a0stronger collaboration between cooperatives, universities, and institutions<\/strong>\u00a0to overcome fragmentation. In her remarks, Paola Iamiceli also presented the\u00a0ICBEC<\/a>\u00a0network<\/strong>, a\u00a0global consortium of 24 institutions<\/strong>, with\u00a0EURICSE<\/strong>\u00a0serving as both member and Secretariat, as a\u00a0model of international cooperation<\/strong>\u00a0in cooperative business and management education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
