Euricse is conducting this study in collaboration with<a href=\"https:\/\/ihco.coop\/\"> IHCO <\/a>(International Health Co-operative Organization).<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Specific research objectives<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To determine the main typologies of cooperative organizations devoted to the provision of health-related services.<\/li>\n<li>To assess how mutuals and cooperatives operate in different national welfare systems.<\/li>\n<li>To estimate the number of users accessing mutual and health cooperative services.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4998 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/clock1-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"clock1\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/euricse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/clock1-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/euricse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/clock1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/euricse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/clock1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/euricse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/clock1-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Methodology<\/h3>\n<p>The process of data collection includes obtaining and integrating both international and national official data on different types of cooperatives as well as obtaining ad hoc data through a short questionnaire administered to cooperative federations.<\/p>\n<p>Data collection is devoted to understanding the number and characteristics of the population served by health cooperatives in different countries around the world.
