Jacopo Sforzi
Jacopo Sforzi holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Florence and a PhD in Economic Sociology from the University of Brescia, with a thesis dedicated to the role of institutions and social capital in local development processes.
After working from 2008 to 2010 as a researcher at the School on Local Development of the University of Trento on a research project on the cooperative phenomenon and rural development in Eastern European countries, in 2010 he began his collaboration with Euricse as a post-doc researcher, with a research project on the role of cooperative banks in local development.
Today he is a senior researcher at the Institute, and his research interests focus mainly on local development, development policy and local institutions, with an emphasis on cooperative-type institutions, public institutions and public-private partnerships.
