16 May 2025

On the 24th of April 2025, Giulia Galera, senior researcher at EURICSE, spoke at the Spring School organised by the FH Vienna Campus as part of Master’s Programme in Social Economy.
During her speech, Galera presented the latest data on the social economy in Europe, taken from the report “Benchmarking the socio-economic performance of the EU social economy”, produced by EURICSE for the European Commission in collaboration with CIRIEC International and Spatial Foresight.

The event brought together international experts to discuss the influence of the Social Economy Action Plan (SEAP) in the development of social enterprises, both at national and EU level, highlighting the strategic role of the social economy in responding to the major socio-ecological challenges of our time.

In addition to the conference, Galera also participated in two workshops with students, promoting a moment of discussion and exchange of ideas, thus contributing to an enriching learning experience for all participants.
