From Ecuador to Trento: training experience on social economy and cooperative credit
The third edition of the course “Innovation, Leadership and Governance for Cooperatives” organised by EURICSE, in collaboration with Finanzas Inclusivas y Gobernanza (FIG) and ICORED ended with great success.
From 3 to 5 June, the delegation of representatives, managers and administrators of cooperative banks from Ecuador participated in a study visit in Trento.
This experience offered a valuable opportunity to interact on the topics of innovation and cooperative governance through theoretical classroom discussions, led by lecturers and experts from local organisations and institutions such as EURICSE and Trentino Federation of Cooperatives.
The visits to the premises of some cooperative realities present in Trentino, such as the Banca per il Trentino-Alto Adige and the Mezzacorona Wineries , further enriched the training experience, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and understanding of the impact of good practices in the cooperative credit sector on the territories.
The topics addressed during the training course aroused particular interest among participants, confirming the need to strengthen exchange and sharing among cooperative organisations and institutions on an international scale.
With this in mind, EURICSE renews its commitment to harnessing the expertise gained in the study of the social economy, offering tailor-made training courses with the aim of promoting greater dissemination of the cooperative model, both locally and globally.
