EURICSE hosts the WISESHIFT project General Assembly
On Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd January, EURICSE hosted the WISESHIFT project General Assembly in Trento. The initiative is supported by the European Commission and involves partners from 8 countries – universities, research institutes and social economy networks, including EURICSE. The project aims to strengthen work inclusion social enterprises (WISE) as drivers of inclusive and sustainable transitions, offering scientific insights, strategic frameworks and policy solutions at multiple levels. During the meeting, the partners contributed to the definition of the project’s policy report, aimed at raising awareness of the current context and development trends of these enterprises in Europe, and selected the case studies that will guide next year’s activities. The programme also included a study visit to the ALPI Social Cooperative, an important example of WISE in the Trentino region, which is committed to the employment integration of disadvantaged people.
