Change at the top of EURICSE: Paola Iamiceli will be the new President
Effective in June, 2025, Paola Iamiceli will be the new president of EURICSE. Her appointment, proposed by the Rector of the University of Trento and unanimously approved by Euricse’s Founding Members, follows the mandate of sociologist Mario Diani.
With a long and well-established collaboration with EURICSE since its early years and a prestigious academic background at the University of Trento, Prof. Iamiceli is preparing to lead the Foundation into a new phase of development. Her efforts will be geared toward continuing and intensifying Euricse’s research activities, strengthening interdisciplinary collaborations and further consolidating EURICSE’s presence on the National, European and International scene.
Professional Profile
Paola Iamiceli is full professor of private law at the Faculty of Law, University of Trento. The author of numerous publications and engaged in international research projects on the topics of European law, fundamental rights, governance of sustainable supply chains, digital transition and artificial intelligence, she has worked, including in collaborative projects with Carlo Borzaga and Euricse, on forms of social enterprise in the European context, the Third Sector and business networks, including in the social sphere.
Formerly Pro-Rector of the University of Trento between 2017 and 2023 and member of the Academic Senate between 2018 and 2023, Paola Iamiceli has been a member of the EURICSE Management Committee since 2022.
