Carlo Borzaga PhD Thesis Award: 15 applications from 9 countries
The first edition of the PhD Thesis Award in memory of Carlo Borzaga has attracted significant international interest, with 15 applications submitted from 9 countries across 4 continents. The Scientific Committee will begin the evaluation process by the end of August, with the aim of announcing the winner or winners by 1 November 2026.
Promoted by the Venice Foundation for Peace Research and EURICSE, under the patronage of the University of Trento and in collaboration with ICA CCR, EMES and CIRIEC International, the Award recognises outstanding doctoral theses focusing on the cooperative model and its contribution to social cohesion and peacebuilding. The award includes a €2,500 prize and the opportunity to publish an excerpt of the thesis in JEOD – Journal of Entrepreneurial and Organizational Diversity.
