CIRIEC: International Research Conference
From the 27th to the 29th of October 2025, EURICSE researchers took part in the 10th International Conference on Social Economy Research organised by CIRIEC International and Chaire TerrESS in Bordeaux. The meeting brought together scholars from around the world to discuss challenges and innovations affecting the social economy. Senior researcher Chiara Carini, together with Rafael Chaves (University of Valencia and Ciriec Spain) presented the EISMEA report on the social economy in Europe and the work carried out on behalf of the ILO, dedicated to improving statistics on cooperatives and the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).
Researcher Caterina De Benedictis participated as a discussant in the round table “Pour de futures mutualisations”, organised by MACIF in collaboration with the Fondation Jean-Jaurès, and presented the paper “Common goods and shared administration, analysed through the lens of urban governance: a new model of relations between citizens and public authorities?”.
