Connecting for Change: Transformative Digital Transition
The second technical session of the EU Proximity and Social Economy Platform, “Connecting for Change: Transformative Digital Transition”, explored the role of ethical digital practices and data sharing in the proximity and social economy. Gianluca Pastorelli, president of Diesis, introduced the Code of Conduct for Data Sharing, followed by contributions from Kasper Hallenborg on “ethical AI in healthcare” and Irene Oliva Rodríguez on the “COMHOM project addressing homelessness”.
Breakout sessions, led by platform Ambassadors Anne Rosken and Marta Campo, with additional facilitation by Ilana Gotz, Senior project manager at EURICSE, focused on the role of AI and open data in the social economy.
The third technical session “Resilient Communities: Local Solutions for Social and Economic Growth” exploring urban and rural well-being is scheduled for the 27th of June from 10:00-12:00 CEST.
