Euricse joins forces in the WISESHIFT Project!
We are thrilled to be part of the Horizon Europe WISESHIFT project, aimed at supporting Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) and policymakers in promoting an inclusive and sustainable green and socio-economic transition.
On March 3rd and 4th, we attended the kick-off meeting in Louvain-la-Neuve, connecting with researchers from eight European countries and EU networks.
Led by UCLouvain, the project includes key partners such as EMES, Social Economy Europe, ENSIE, RREUSE, and universities from Aix-Marseille, Belgrade, Cork, Latvia, Zagreb, and Radboud University.
WISESHIFT will analyze the contributions of WISEs to inclusive and sustainable transitions, focusing on three key areas:
- repair, reuse, and recycling;
- agri-food;
- community and home care for the elderly.
The ultimate goal of WISESHIFT is to strengthen the role of social economy organizations, especially WISEs, as catalysts for transformative change towards more inclusive and sustainable practices, as outlined in the EU Social Economy Action Plan.
