Eurobarometer on the Social Economy

According to the new Eurobarometer survey published on the 28th of October by the European Commission, 75% of Europeans recognise the importance of the social economy for collective well-being. The study provides comparable data at the European and national levels, including Italy, and represents an important step towards increasing awareness and visibility of the sector, confirming the need for further analysis that had already emerged in the EISMEA study coordinated by EURICSE in collaboration with Ciriec International and Spatial Foresight, aimed at measuring the weight of the social economy in the European context.
