From Ecuador to Trento: fifth study visit on the social economy and cooperative credit
The fifth edition of the training programme “Innovation, Leadership and Governance for Cooperatives”, organised by EURICSE in collaboration with Finanzas Inclusivas y Gobernanza (FIG) and ICORED, has come to a successful conclusion.
From 5 to 7 May, a delegation of representatives, managers and directors of cooperative banks from Ecuador took part in a study visit to Trento, with the aim of exploring issues related to innovation and cooperative governance.
The programme alternated between theoretical training sessions and opportunities for direct discussion with local experts and organisations, including visits to several Trentino-based cooperatives, such as the Banca per il Trentino-Alto Adige and the Mezzacorona Group. These experiences enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of good cooperative practices on regional development and the enhancement of local areas.
The initiative confirmed the value of international exchange between cooperative organisations and institutions, fostering the sharing of practices, knowledge and skills.
Through this initiative, EURICSE renews its commitment to putting the expertise gained through the study of the social economy to good use, via dedicated training activities capable of creating connections and opportunities for growth between different regions and countries.
