Mont Blanc Meetings on Social and Solidarity Economy
Our Secretary General, Gianluca Salvatori, participated in the Mont Blanc Meetings – The Social and Solidarity Economy World Diplomacy Forum 2026, organized by ESS Forum International. Global leaders of the social and solidarity economy, together with representatives of governments, businesses, and national and international institutions, gathered to discuss the theme: “Building a Sustainable and Sovereign Future with the Social and Solidarity Economy”.
The sessions highlighted how the social economy offered concrete solutions to crises of dependency (food, energy, and digital) while emphasizing the need to strengthen the enabling conditions inherent to its nature. The Forum concluded with the intention of adopting a Manifesto to translate these priorities into concrete actions at national, regional, and international levels.
