Online the Cooperative Education Collection
On the International Day of Cooperatives, the International Co-operative Business Education Consortium (ICBEC) is excited to announce the launch of the Cooperative Education Collection: Learning to better cooperate. This new online collection on PortailCoop offers a rich and continuously evolving set of resources to support students, educators, and professionals in cooperative business education.
A Collaborative Effort by ICBEC Members
This initiative stems from the collaborative efforts of ICBEC members, who have jointly developed and curated the resources available on the website. The Cooperative Education Collection stands as a testament to the power of collective action in promoting cooperative principles and practices through education.
Special recognition goes to the Institut international des coopératives Alphonse-et-Dorimène-Desjardins (IICADD), whose financial support made the first version of the collection possible. The Canadian Centre for the Study of Co-operatives (CCSC) has also been instrumental in the development of the collection, leading and financing an initiative focused on cooperative teaching cases, which are featured in the Toolbox section. These cases have significantly contributed to the development and discussions around cooperative education.
The Cooperative Education Collection is a dynamic resource available in English, French and Spanish. Its success is thanks to the collaboration and expertise of many individuals and organizations working together to make cooperative education more accessible and impactful. The collection will continue to evolve with contributions from the governance committee and affiliated organizations, ensuring that it remains a relevant and valuable resource for years to come.
