Caterina De Benedictis
Caterina De Benedictis holds a degree in Sociology and Methodology, Organization and Evaluation of Social Services from the University of Trento.
Her research interests focus on social agriculture and solidarity economy districts, and at Euricse she is a research assistant on the “Comunità Intraprendenti” project, with the aim of producing annual reports dedicated to exploring this phenomenon (of the Community enterprises) in depth.
With the Val di Noto Community Foundation (Sicily) she is currently involved in the creation of a laboratory for sustainable entrepreneurship. Dealing with issues related to the socio-economic development of Southern Italy, she has carried out several professional field experiences, from Syracuse to Casal di Principe, which then resulted in a research activity conducted in collaboration with SVIMEZ on the topic of reuse for social purposes of goods confiscated from organized crime.
