Giacomo Pisani
Giacomo Pisani holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Bari and a PhD in Rights and Institutions from the University of Turin. At Euricse he focuses on welfare, labour, territorial health and new forms of collaboration between public administrations and the Third Sector.
As a scholar of philosophy and sociology of law, he won the post-doc 2021 call for proposals from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto, on behalf of Euricse, presenting a research project on civic service in the Trentino context. His project explores civil service as a training tool to facilitate young people’s integration into the workforce and society.
After his PhD he carried out research activities as a research fellow and research scholarship holder at the University of Turin, the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies (IISF), and the Italian Association for Industrial Research (AIRI). He serves on the editorial boards of the Rivista di Filosofia del Diritto and Sociologia del Diritto.
He obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the role of Professor in Philosophy of Law. He is the author of the monographs ‘Welfare and labour transformations’ (Ediesse, 2019), ‘Digital platforms and self-determination’ (Mucchi, 2023) as well as numerous essays in national and international journals.
