Social Innovation in rural areas

On January 17th and 18th, we were in Burgos for the kick-off meeting of the Horizon Europe project ESIRA (Enhancing Social Innovation in Rural Areas), supported by the European Commission. The main objective of ESIRA is the implementation of innovative socio-economic initiatives, with a focus on building local social networks in rural communities and improving the economic position of marginalized groups.
Alongside Euricse in this European partnership are two other Italian partners, Cooperazione Trentina and Borghiin, a network of cooperative enterprises in the Abruzzo region. Together, we are dedicated to promoting the growth of rural communities by putting people first and embracing social innovation.
