Statute for an European Cooperative Society: the Syntesis Report

The European Commission has made available the Synthesis Report on the state of implementation of the Statute for a European Cooperative Society (SCE), carried out by Euricse on behalf of DG GROW – Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.
The study examines the diffusion of SCEs in the 30 EU/EEA countries, analyses the factors influencing their establishment and proposes actions to improve their effectiveness and application.
The report underlines the importance of the SCE Regulation for the recognition of the cooperative model at the European level and recommends regulatory updates and stronger promotion at the institutional level.
