17th Workshop on Cooperative and Responsible Finance for Development
How to promote sustainable growth in the financial sector, with a particular focus on cooperative, ethical and inclusive finance. What role do cooperative banks and local credit networks play in a region’s development? How is the cooperative model evolving in the face of today’s major economic and social challenges? These are some of the topics that will be addressed during the “17th Workshop on Cooperative and Responsible Finance for Development”, organised by Euricse in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Trento and Federcasse, with the support of the European Association of Co-operative Banks (EACB).
Now in its seventeenth edition, the event spans two days of proceedings organised into thematic sessions and round tables, featuring paper presentations and opportunities for dialogue. Specifically, discussions will cover bank credit, regulation and cooperative financial markets, the sustainability of small banks, governance and community banks, without overlooking the impact of artificial intelligence. The conference will also explore topics such as parenthood as a transformative ecosystem for the development of relational and transferable skills.
This is an opportunity to engage with international scholars, delve into issues of ethical finance, share experiences and build new networks of cooperation aimed at supporting the sector.
The event will take place on Thursday 18h of June at 9.30 am and Friday 19th of June at 9 am in the conference room of the Palazzo di Economia (Trento – Via Inama, 5). The workshop will be held in English. You can also follow the proceedings online by registering here.
