THE ROLE OF COOPERATIVES IN SUPPORTING PATHWAYS TO PEACE

On the 9th of March at 2:00 PM (CET), a webinar will take place on Zoom to present the Doctoral Thesis Award established in memory of Carlo Borzaga. The Award encourages  interdisciplinary doctoral research exploring the role of cooperatives in strengthening social cohesion, building resilient communities, and advancing democratic participation and peaceful pathways to social change.
Under the patronage of the University of Trento, the initiative is promoted by EURICSE in collaboration with The Venice Foundation for Peace Research in collaboration with the International Cooperative Alliance Committee on Cooperative Research (ICA CCR), the EMES International Research Network, and CIRIEC International. Representatives of the promoting organisations and partner institutions will join the event, which will feature a keynote address by Marguerite Mendell.
