Fifteen years after its first edition in 2009, the Dictionary of Civil Economy offers a vision of the economy that focuses on people, relationships and the common good, going beyond the logic of profit. Recently published by Edizioni Città Nuova, the volume brings together 50 entries written by experts from various disciplines, offering a reflection on the role of the economy in modern society.
Among the insights, we highlight the entry “social economy” by Carlo Borzaga and Gianluca Salvatori, together with a special dedication by the authors to Professor Carlo Borzaga, a distinguished scholar of the cooperative movement and social economy, to whom this work is dedicated.
