Trento European Volunteering Capital

Euricse is supporting CSV Trentino and the Municipality of Trento in the implementation of the Trento European Volunteering Capital initiative.
We are currently in the planning phase of the inaugural ceremony and the program of events that will take place throughout 2024, with a specific focus on volunteering, active citizenship and participation. This program is the result of a participatory process involving the different stakeholders in the area. In the Spring of 2024, a major meeting will be held in which delegations from all of the European Capitals of Volunteering will be invited to participate, including the cities of Barcelona (from 2014), Lisbon, London, Sligo, Aarhus, Padua, Berlin, Gdansk, and Trondheim (the current capital). During this event, best practices developed in Trento will be presented and shared.
