I centri di servizio per il volontariato costituiscono una figura essenziale nell’ambito del sistema di gestione dei fondi di cui all’art. 15 della Legge-quadro sul volontariato n. 266/1991, essendo chiamati dal legislatore a svolgere una funzione fondamentale per lo sviluppo dell’attività e delle organizzazioni di volontariato.

Negli ultimi decenni si è assistito a processi di liberalizzazione e privatizzazione in molti settori dei servizi pubblici locali (fornitura di energia, servizi idrici, trasporti, gestione dei rifiuti, ecc.) che hanno portato in molti casi a ridisegnare il ruolo e le funzioni dell’ente pubblico da fornitore a regolatore, in modo particolare in presenza di fallimenti del mercato.

Il rapporto di ricerca mostra la distribuzione dei fattori che influenzano l’abitabilità della città di Trento su scala di quartiere, incidendo sulle scelte insediative degli abitanti.

La rigenerazione di beni immobili per finalità di interesse collettivo rappresenta un campo di azione di notevole interesse per organizzazioni nonprofit e imprese sociali. La gestione di queste iniziative, infatti, consente di avviare nuove attività di servizio in risposta a bisogni emergenti e, contemporaneamente, permette di consolidare il loro progetto imprenditoriale.

This report presents the results of a survey conducted in 2011 among a representative sample of consumer cooperatives participating in the ANCC-Coop system. The research objective was to interview elected volunteers members of Coop, an important figure in the Coop system both from a quantitative and from a qualitative point of view, since it represents the linkage between citizenship and decision-making bodies of the cooperative, but also between the mutual nature of the cooperative and the members’ interest on the one hand and the social soul of the cooperative on the other side.

Il rapporto di ricerca aveva l’obiettivo di indagare la capacità delle cooperative sociali di inserimento lavorativo aderenti al Consorzio Sociale Unitario G. Zorzetto (Venezia) di generare per la pubblica amministrazione benefici di natura economica dovuti al risparmio che quest’ultima può ottenere dall’inserire i soggetti svantaggiati presso le cooperative anziché seguirli con politiche alternative di sostegno sociale e del reddito.

Nell’ambito di quella che viene ampiamente definita agricoltura sociale, un ruolo predominante è svolto dalle cooperative sociali. Il presente rapporto di ricerca quantifica le cooperative sociali italiane che svolgono la propria attività prevalente nel settore agricolo, individuandone la distribuzione a livello territoriale e le principali caratteristiche dimensionali ed economico-finanziarie. Fonte dell’indagine sono i dati camerali raccolti nella banca dati Aida – Bureau Van Dijk relativa alle cooperative attive al 31 dicembre 2009.

Lo studio analizza l’evoluzione del sistema di credito cooperativo nella provincia di Trento nello scorso decennio, concentrandosi in particolare sulle condizioni di concorrenza, sia tra banche di credito cooperativo e altri tipi di banche, sia all’interno dello stesso sistema del credito cooperativo.

Questo rapporto di ricerca completa il precedente dal titolo “Le cooperative di utenza in Italia e in Europa” (2011). Vengono qui esaminate in modo approfondito realtà diverse, selezionate tra quelle censite nel primo rapporto, che illustrano diverse sfaccettature del fenomeno.

Gli USA sono forse il paese dove la presenza di cooperative di utenza nella gestione di servizi pubblici locali è più consistente a livello mondiale. Lo scopo del presente lavoro è tracciare un quadro del fenomeno in questo paese, sia sul piano economico che istituzionale. I settori analizzati sono quello dell’energia, dei servizi idrici e delle telecomunicazioni.

Il recesso nelle società cooperative costituisce un tema di straordinaria attualità per ragioni ben comprensibili, poiché esso rappresenta terreno di confronto tra esigenza di stabilità e sviluppo dell’impresa cooperativa e interesse dei soci alla riacquisizione della libertà contrattuale e al disinvestimento del capitale.

La liberalizzazione dei servizi pubblici pone tra gli altri anche interrogativi sulla forma organizzativa ideale degli enti di gestione. Quella cooperativa, che pur vanta esperienze significative nel mondo, è stata fin qui poco considerata in Italia: questo lavoro vuole essere un primo passo verso una equilibrata rivisitazione del suo ruolo, anche con riferimento al processo di liberalizzazione in atto.

Durante il corso del 2011, il Cantiere per il Credito Cooperativo1 organizzato da Euricse in collaborazione con la Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione si è dato come obiettivo quello di definire un profilo condiviso di cosa vuol dire oggi essere una “buona cassa rurale” per poi misurare, in modo quanto più oggettivo possibile, la performance delle casse rurali trentine rispetto a questo modello ideale.

This research project stems from the realization that in Italy there is a dearth of official statistical information on the cooperative sector, in spite of the important role that this sector plays for the national economy.

Two crucial problems when research agencies or donors need to asses empirically the microfinance/children education nexus on already operating organizations are lack of availability of panel data and selection bias. We propose an original approach which tackles these problems by combining retrospective panel data, fixed effects and comparison between pre and post-treatment trends.

Cooperative affiliation implies a series of actions in which members are first movers and trust that the organisation will reciprocate them. Acceptance of a member and her/his survival in the organisation suggests as well that the member has been regarded as trustworthy by the latter.

In our empirical analysis of wage differentials in a sample of workers in the cooperative not for profit sector we find that, consistently with the donative-labor hypothesis, more intrinsically motivated workers “donate more work” (unpaid overtime, arrear holidays) but are also more productive and earn significantly higher wages. Our results are robust to several measures of workers’ remuneration and controlled for endogeneity.
